so, i’m currently sitting in the den waiting for my parents to get up so that i can make sure today doesn’t wind up in the crapper when it comes to stuff that neeeds to be done. pet shop boys definately come in handy right about now.

basically i have to be up at goshen before 2 since we’re expecting some people over. should be fun.

i hate this

so it snowed a few inches last night through this morning, and then it turned into sleet/freezing rain earlier today.

and guess who gets to clean out the driveway?

and to top it all off, my mom’s battery is dead, so i have to clean off her car and get it started again.

those of you in warmer climates are lucky.

i just about shit myself

so, you guys know how much of a fleetwood mac fan i am, and within the past 12 hours, i’ve learned two new things.

1. they’re going on tour.
2. they’re playing at mohegan sun arena in uncasville on 3/14.

you have no idea how psyched i am. they’re playing in ct in less than 2 months.

i can barely contain myself.

Oh, just shut up already

So, I just saw Boehner on CNN, and he was talking about how he doesn’t support the bill that Obama just offered to Congress, and in all honesty, I think he needs to just sit down and shut up.

So, where was he during the Bush years? Why is he now starting to stand up and oppose bills based on their price, and where the money is going?

Mr. Boehner, please stop. Just because a Democrat is in the White House doesn’t give you the right to oppose a bill. And since you didn’t stand up to Bush, you shouldn’t be standing up to Obama. You’re a hypocrite.

If you’ve been following me on Facebook you’ll know that I’ve decided to start selling some of my stuff on eBay. That’s right, I’ve resorted to eBay.

Why?

Because of two things. First, I don’t have a job, and unless you’ve been living under a rock you know that companies aren’t exactly hiring right now. Second, I’m nearly broke. I’ve got less than $100 to my name, and that needs to change.

It also makes it so that my mom stops nagging me about having a messy room. I’ve got more stuff in there than anyone should, so I figured I’d sell some of it off to clean house while making a few bucks.

As of right now, though, I have yet to put anything up for sale. I’m still trying to get the feel of the site, plus I need to organize my stuff and figure out what’ll be put up and what won’t.

So, my parents had me bring a bunch of stuff up to Goshen again, and it’s one of those times when I’m glad that our truck is so big.

What did I haul? A backpack, a dog, a step-stool, a large box of postcards, a convection oven, and 440lbs. of sand. Everything but the sand was put in the cab, and the sand was thrown in the bed.
